Progress Rail Services UK is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to act as the central point of contact for operational support across Planning, Procurement and Logistics. This role is responsible for coordinating essential administrative activities to ensure the smooth running of the operation, playing a key part in delivering excellent customer service and acting as a vital communication link between sites. THE ROLE: As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be required to: - Prepare and issue production work order packs for the shop floor, including route cards, labels and technical drawings or sketches. - Support WIP control, including expediting work in progress, completing job closures and assisting with month‑end processes, highlighting risks or delays to production teams as they arise. - Liaise with internal departments and Sales to provide timely updates on order progress and any delivery delays. - Produce and maintain consignment stock forecasts, free‑issue purchase orders, usage and forecast reports, supporting materials availability and planning accuracy. - Assist Logistics with transport arrangements and purchase orders related to WIP and finished goods movements. - Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Quality and internal and external Logistics teams to su...
