This opportunity is ideal for a Lead Fitter to join a company known for their ongoing training & development, progression opportunities, and excellent benefits. In this role, you will work closely with supervisors and managers to lead a passionate team involved in the overhaul, service & maintenance of pumps & other rotating equipment.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the overhaul of rotating equipment and seek a site-based role where they can pass on their knowledge & mentor others, while working with a global company offering excellent benefits, training, and career growth opportunities.
The Role:
* Mechanical fitting activities related to dismantling, inspection, repair, overhaul, assembly, and testing of rotating equipment, ensuring high-quality repair, timeliness, and compliance with HSEQ standards.
* Accurate and timely completion of equipment repairs within strict deadlines.
* Reading and interpreting risk assessments, maintenance instructions, and engineering drawings.
The Person:
* Previous experience in a Lead Fitter role.
* Minimum of 10-15 years' experience working with rotating equipment (overhaul and maintenance).
* Time-served craftsperson in a relevant mechanical discipline or holding relevant qualifications.
* Good communication skills and a team player.
* Seeking a site-based role with a company committed to investing in your training and development.
