About the Role
We are looking for a creative, passionate Art & Design Teacher to join our team in October 2025. You will teach across KS3 and KS4, delivering high quality lessons that inspire and challenge all students.
Key Responsibilities
7. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Art & Design lessons to KS3 & KS4 pupils, meeting curriculum standards.
8. Assess, monitor, and give feedback on students’ work, supporting progress and development.
9. Develop and maintain creative, safe and stimulating learning environments.
10. Collaborate with the department and school to contribute to curriculum design and improvement.
11. Support students’ artistic growth, including in drawing, design, mixed media, and other art disciplines.
12. Participate in professional development and school events.
Person Specification / Requirements
You will have:
13. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
14. Strong subject knowledge in Art & Design.
15. Experience of teaching (or training to teach) KS3 & KS4. ECTs are welcome to apply.
16. Enthusiasm, creativity, and the ability to engage and motivate pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
17. Good organisational and communication skills.
18. A commitment to high standards of behaviour and achievement.
