Description:
A 46 year old man with a visual impairment is looking for a personal assistant, to go to the gym, visit the local area and explore new places, widen horizons and look at other opportunities around Music and Adventure.
Hours:
The post is initially 9 hours a week and happy for this support to be flexible over 2-3 days. 5.6 weeks paid holiday
Wage:
Starting wage during trail period is £12.21, which will be reviewed after initial 3 month probationary period
Duties will include:
Maintaining Safety in the environment.
Support to look at opportunities that may be of interest, promoting independence.
Applicants must be:
Reliable
Trustworthy
Honest
Good communicator
Able to listen and relay information
Car driver with own vehicle preferable but not essential
Opportunities for free training will be given All successful applicants will undergo references and an enhanced DBS check.
