Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum

With a growing portfolio and ambitious plans for continued expansion, we are seeking a confident and experienced Bid Manager to lead our tendering efforts and help secure key contracts across a range of sectors.
As Bid Manager, you will lead the end-to-end bid process—from receipt of ITT through to post-tender interviews. You’ll coordinate a multidisciplinary team to including estimators, planners, construction leads, and design managers, while also engaging with internal departments, supply chain partners, and clients to deliver compelling, high-quality submissions & proposals for delivery of construction & civil engineering projects.

Experience/Skills we’re seeking:
* Proven experience in bid management within the construction or civil engineering sector.
* Strong understanding of construction techniques and engineering design principles.
* In-depth knowledge of the tendering process, including ITTs, PQQs, EOIs, and framework submissions.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary bid teams (estimators, planners, design managers, etc.).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing high-quality, competitive submissions.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
* Ability to liaise effectively with internal departments, external consultants, and supply chain partners.
* Comfortable presenting technical and commercial content for internal approval and client interviews.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Willingness to travel across England and to the company’s headquarters as required.
* Familiarity with digital collaboration tools and bid management platforms (e.g. SharePoint).
Desirable:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g. Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business).
* Experience in delivering construction projects, either in a site or office-based role.
* Knowledge of key sectors such as PBSA, BTR, Leisure, Education, Commercial, and Community developments.
* Experience working on both public and private sector tenders.
* Understanding of bid quality improvement processes, including lessons learned and debrief analysis.
