Temporis Legal Recruitment are delighted to be working with a highly regarded Warwickshire based firm who are in need of a solicitor with solid civil litigation experience to join their growing dispute resolution team.
The successful candidate will be handling a caseload that includes:
\t
* Company commercial director / shareholder disputes
\t
* Business partnership disputes
\t
* Breach of contract
\t
* Commercial and residential property claims
\t
* ToLATA
\t
* Boundary / neighbour disputes
\t
* Private nuisance
\t
* Harassment and defamation
\t
* Insolvency claims
Candidates must be comfortable with:
\t
* Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including particulars of claim, defences, disclosure and witness statements, from instruction through to resolution
\t
* Conducting advocacy in appropriate hearings (where rights of audience permit) and instructing counsel when necessary
\t
* Advising clients on dispute resolution strategies, including negotiation, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR)
\t
* Ensuring compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and relevant court deadlines
\t
* Maintaining accurate file management
\t
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships including networking and attending business sponsored or organised events as required
The candidate should be:
\t
* A qualified solicitor in England and Wales with a current practising certificate, OR a Chartered Legal Executive Litigator or CILEX Lawyer
\t
* In possession of a strong knowledge of CPR and litigation process
\t
* Able to work collaboratively within a team and mentor and support junior members of the team
\t
* Excellent at drafting, analytical and advocacy skills
\t
* Commercially aware with a client focused approach
