At Cavendish Nuclear, we’re working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as an Operations Manager at our Hartlepool, Heysham, and Torness sites.
The Role
As an Operations Manager, you will lead our multi-site, multi-disciplined operations team based on our client EDF’s Nuclear sites.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing and managing the operations capability across the site-based teams.
* Providing leadership and communicating the vision and strategy for operations.
* Managing stakeholder relationships and maintaining effective communication between Cavendish Nuclear and the client.
* Managing multi-disciplinary teams across multiple sites, including activities such as engineering, installation, operations, maintenance, commissioning, and decommissioning.
* Leading Health, Safety, Security, Quality, and Environmental initiatives for site teams.
Please note that this role involves travel across various internal and customer sites, with regular travel to Hartlepool, Heysham, and Torness, alongside home working arrangements.
This is a full-time position, 37 hours per week.
Essential Experience
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience in works planning and oversight.
* Experience managing and delivering projects in complex environments.
* Experience deploying teams safely within the engineering or construction industry.
Qualifications
* NEBOSH or IOSH health and safety qualification.
* MAPM qualification is preferred but not essential.
