Job Description Summary

Join BD’s UKI Critical Care team as a Territory Manager, focusing on the Arctic Sun 5000 Temperature Management System. In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding BD’s presence in the Critical Care market by delivering innovative solutions that enhance clinical practice and patient outcomes. You will drive the promotion, education, and sales of a specialised product range, working closely with healthcare professionals to implement advanced temperature management therapies that make a difference in patient care.

This field-based role covers the South West and South Wales areas, with 4 days in the field and occasional overnight stays. You will be part of an impactful team known for its encouraging culture and commitment to excellence, with the opportunity to collaborate with ICU professionals, develop internal therapy champions, and contribute to market growth in a dynamic, high-impact environment.

Our vision for Urology and Critical Care at BD

Urology and Critical Care (UCC) is an established and trusted partner in urinary healthcare, developing complete solutions which optimize the urine drainage process in the Acute Care Hospital setting.

At BD, we’re looking for sales professionals that are not content with the status quo, we are building a sales team that want to win and grow the BD market share to Advance the World of Health™. Strong command of SFDC CRM is a core requirement at BD. Sales professionals don’t just use SFDC—they master it. At BD, if it's not in SFDC, it doesn't exist. We expect every sales associate to use SFDC daily and offer world-class support and training to help you succeed.


About The Role

To provide support to both sales and marketing teams in driving business growth by ensuring customer needs are met and territory revenue maximised through effective planning of activities and resources, communicating back information relating to opportunities, competitor activity, and any other relevant matters.

Responsible for managing key accounts within your territory and providing high standards of technical advice to customers on all products used in critical care settings including Neonatal, Paediatric, and Adult patient groups. To ensure delivery of exceptional clinical education and training programmes which enhance awareness of BD’s product range and increase our share of the market.

The role will involve supporting new and existing customers and colleagues across all areas of the Critical Care portfolio. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Sales or Account Management capacity, with excellent communication skills, knowledge of healthcare systems, stakeholder management, account planning, strategic selling and proven negotiation techniques. Experience in Critical Care would be advantageous but not essential.


Main Responsibilities Will Include

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including ICU doctors, nurses and hospital management
* Develop strategic account plans, prioritising time and resources effectively
* Deliver comprehensive education and support for Targeted Temperature Management and the Arctic Sun system.
* Lead post-purchase training, driving product adoption and usage in clinical settings.
* Provide technical and clinical support for product implementation and usage.
* Facilitate peer-to-peer engagements, such as local symposia, masterclasses, and round table meetings.
* Monitor and assess account performance, ensuring objectives are met and sustained.
* Ensure compliance with company CRM standards and expectations


About You

* The successful applicant should have a minimum of 2-3 years of proven track record in medical sales or a clinical career in Critical Care.
* Previous experience of Critical Care / Neonatology / Paediatrics / Emergency department preferred but not essential
* Full driving license.
* Experience in delivering engaging presentations and demonstrated capability in securing mutually beneficial solutions in a healthcare setting.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Proficient in Salesforce and Excel, with a focus on data-driven decision making and solution selling.
* Enthusiasm for targeted therapies and a desire to contribute to improving patient care.
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing to team success and wider strategic goals.


Salary range for the role

£45,000 - £55,000 + bonus + benefits
