We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join the team at a prestigious 4-star hotel in the beautiful New Forest. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate chef who thrives in a fresh food environment and wants to progress their career in a luxury setting.
Key Information
* Salary: Up to £34,000 per year
* Hours: 5 days out of 7 (including weekends on rotation)
* Contract: Permanent, full-time
* Location: New Forest
* Accommodation: Live-in available
* Cuisine: Fresh, seasonal dishes
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
* Supervise and support junior kitchen staff
* Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
* Contribute to menu development and innovation
Required Skills & Experience
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
* Passion for fresh food and creative cooking
* Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
