Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant – Autism & Communication – Barking & DagenhamFrom £89/day | Nursery/EYFS | Barking & Dagenham | Immediate Start | Full-Time | Long-Term Axcis are partnering with a nurturing primary school in Barking & Dagenham who are seeking an Early Years SEND TA to support children with autism, social communication needs and speech delay. The school has a lovely, community feel and an experienced EYFS team who work closely with therapists and families to provide strong early intervention. The school is easily accessed via the District and Hammersmith & City lines, with good on-site parking available. In this role, you will be: •Supporting EYFS pupils with autism and communication needs through play-based, sensory and structured activities. •Using visuals, Makaton/PECS, modelling and simplified language to aid communication. •Helping with routines, transitions, regulation and early social development. •Working with the SENCO, class teacher and therapists to implement personalised strategies. •Encouraging confidence, curiosity and engagement across early learning experiences.
