You'll be joining a tight-knit team of experienced technicians, where your input is valued, and your efforts genuinely recognised. Role Responsibilities: Carrying out a range of vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostic work Servicing all makes and models in line with manufacturer standards Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and accurately Performing vehicle health checks and advising on recommended repairs Conducting MOT tests (if qualified) and ensuring all work meets DVSA standards Accurately completing job cards and maintaining clear service records Contributing to the smooth, efficient running of the workshop and supporting your colleagues when needed What We're Looking For: A Level 3-qualified Vehicle Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) An MOT Tester (Class 4) certification is highly desirable but not essential Strong diagnostic ability and confident with both mechanical and electrical systems Solid experience working in a professional workshop environment (dealer or independent) A proactive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for the motor trade Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job properly Full UK driving licence required What's On Offer: Competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000, depending on experience and qualifications No weekends - enjoy your weekends off and a healthier work-life balance A supportive, close-knit team where your skills are respected Ongoing training and the opportunity to gain further certifications (e.g. MOT testing if not yet qualified) A long-term, stable position in a garage that values and looks after its staff Clean, well-equipped workshop with quality tools and diagnostic equipment Staff discounts, uniform provided, and free on-site parking Why Apply?
