Senior CAD Engineer: SALARY UP TO £55K
Electro chlorination Engineering: BICESTER Oxfordshire
Part of a major multinational desalination EPC with sales and engineering offices in Chennai and Dubai, Cumberland is a small company, at the cutting edge of electro chlorination plant design and manufacture. Our products are used across a wide range of industries for the treatment of large quantities of water to prevent bio fouling. At our Bicester HO, with our diverse and inclusive workforce, we both design and assemble electro chlorination plant for large international companies in the off shore wind sector, oil and gas, power generation and desalination industries.
Due to an impending retirement, we have a requirement for an experienced CAD engineer, based at in Bicester, to lead our CAD capability. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will ensure consistent engineering design quality & efficiency and on time drawings delivery.
You will have around 5 to 7 years' post trainee experience as an engineer in a projects-based environment, with sound working abilities in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (3D). Experience in Hexagon Smart 3D and Hexagon Smart PID would also be a real asset Previous drawing experience in a relevant environment such as water treatment, oil & gas, petrochemical, process plant or other piping & pumping equipment will be a huge advantage. You will have working knowledge of designing skid mounted equipment, common manufacturing techniques / processes as well as working familiarity with industry standards such as B.S., A.N.S.I., D.I.N., etc.
Other key attributes include, good all round communication skills including excellent spoken English, and the ability to remain focused on priorities and self-motivated amidst occasionally frequent interruptions. You will be comfortable working as part of one or more project teams and be conscious of the need to meet deadlines, often under pressurised conditions. Good attention to detail, accuracy and flexibility of approach are essential.

Salary will be from £45k and up to £55k for those who can show a really tight match to the above experience requirements and the proven capability to develop other CAD team members.
