This is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified finance professional to play a strategic leadership role within a high-profile public sector organisation delivering vital services across Northern Ireland. As a key member of the Finance team, you will provide a complete financial management service to designated Directorates, supporting senior leaders with expert advice, robust governance, budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision-making. You will help drive value for money, continuous improvement and the development of a modern, responsive finance function. This role will also support major transformation and cross-border initiatives, including the PEACE PLUS TACTICS Programme, focused on emergency response interoperability, training and mutual aid across communities. The Person You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAEW, CAI or equivalent) with at least 2 years' relevant experience delivering management accounting and financial analysis services to senior stakeholders. You should demonstrate experience in: Strategic financial management and business partnering Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Governance, controls and compliance Influencing senior stakeholders and driving change Process improvement and performance management Advanced Excel and strong IT capability A valid driving licence and access to transport is required.
