Role Overview
We are looking for a Health Care Support Worker to join our Inpatient Services as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering high quality, patient-centred care for individuals requiring treatment for alcohol and substance use at Eriskay House, Stobhill Hospital.
Shift Pattern
The shift pattern is 37 hours per week (reducing to 36 hours per week from April 2026), with a long day pattern for dayshift and rotational night-shift.
Responsibilities
* Deliver compassionate and person-centred care to patients in an inpatient alcohol and drug recovery service.
* Participate in the daily multidisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
* Support patients in their recovery journey through monitored activities, treatment programmes and discharge planning.
* Maintain accurate person‑care records and report any care issues promptly.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants should have:
* A strong desire and motivation to work within an inpatient alcohol and drug recovery service.
* Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
* Effective time‑management and organisational skills.
* The ability to fulfil all duties and responsibilities as outlined in the full job description.
