Salary: £12.21 Per Hour
Hours: 09:00 – 19:00 (37.5 Hours Per Week)
Working Pattern:Monday – Friday

The Role:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join a busy and fast-paced team based in Sheffield. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, organisation, and working to deadlines. You’ll be responsible for entering, maintaining, and verifying large volumes of data, ensuring all information is up to date, accurate, and compliant with company standards.
Day-to-day, you’ll populate databases, compile reports, and cross-check information from multiple sources. You’ll also be responsible for identifying any discrepancies or errors, escalating issues to the appropriate team, and supporting the wider department in meeting key service level agreements (SLAs). Alongside your data responsibilities, you’ll handle customer queries via phone and email, providing a high level of service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
* Input, update, and maintain accurate data within company systems and spreadsheets.
* Collect and compile data from multiple sources for analysis and reporting.
* Identify and escalate any errors, inconsistencies, or areas of concern.
* Work efficiently to meet daily and weekly targets in line with SLAs.
* Provide professional and helpful customer service via phone and email.
* Support the wider team with administrative tasks as required.
The Successful Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have:
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Confidence working with data and managing multiple priorities.
* Experience in a data entry, administrative, customer service, or call centre environment (desirable but not essential).
* Strong IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
* A proactive attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
