Hiring: Facilities Supervisor (Laboratory)
York | Full-time | 6–8 Month Contract
We’re looking for a Facilities Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of a busy laboratory facility in York. This role would suit someone with hands-on laboratory experience, including junior candidates looking to take the next step.
Key responsibilities:
* Supporting daily lab operations and equipment upkeep
* Coordinating maintenance and liaising with contractors
* Assisting with inductions and user communication
* Monitoring stock levels
* Ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 / ISO 9001 and safety standards
What we’re looking for:
* Experience working in a laboratory environment
* Understanding of quality standards (ISO 17025 or ISO 9001)
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Ability to follow procedures and maintain records
* Molecular lab experience is beneficial but not essential
