Handy Person (Primary School) – Leeds LS8
Hours: 12:15 – 18:15 (Mon – Fri)
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and skilled Handy Person to support a local primary school in Leeds (LS8). This role offers flexible hours, a chance to make a real difference, and involves lone working, general cleaning, and maintenance work. You will be responsible for locking up the site in the evening and share duties with another staff member who works mornings.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine maintenance and light repairs across the school site
* Assist with compliance checks and general upkeep of the premises
* Support site safety and security where needed
* Proactively solve problems and maintain a practical approach to tasks
Requirements
* Experience in general maintenance or handyman roles
* DBS check registered with the Update Service
* Reliability and a proactive, practical approach to problem‑solving
