Position
Medical Audio Typist within Business Administration, Mental Health Services, North Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnership based at Ayrshire Central Hospital, Irvine. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
Hours
28.8 hours per week.
Monday / Tuesday / Thursday & Friday, 9.00 am to 3.30 pm and Wednesday 9.00 am to 1.48 pm.
UK Driving Licence
A UK driving licence is desirable for this role.
What you will do
You will provide a comprehensive, confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Mental Health Services directorate within North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required for this post
You will be educated to ‘O’ Grade / Standard Grade Credit or National 5 in English and Maths, possess an SVQ Level III qualification in Business Administration or equivalent relevant qualification and/or equivalent experience and have a recognised IT qualification in Microsoft Office packages or equivalent relevant qualification and/or equivalent experience. You will also have advanced keyboard skills, proven audio typing experience. Knowledge of medical terminology and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint. Experience of working within an NHS environment and understanding of NHS inter-disciplinary networks are desirable.
You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, have the ability to work unsupervised, using own initiative, ability to adhere to strict maintenance of confidentiality with a knowledge/understanding and compliance of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the flexibility to adapt to changes and last-minute demands.
