Join our team as a Decontamination Unit Support Supervisor and play a vital role in delivering exceptional clinical care. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to support our Team Leaders within the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit. At our organisation, we priority the well-being and safety of our patients by providing a specialized decontamination service. As a Decontamination Unit Support Supervisor, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, safe, and timely services, ensuring compliance with established protocols and standards.
Responsibilities
* Support Team Leaders within the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit to deliver high-quality, safe, and timely services.
* Ensure compliance with CQC, NICE, and medical device regulations, maintaining patient safety at all times.
* Assist in managing the accredited Quality System for sterilisation and decontamination processes.
* Oversee the collection, cleaning, and preparation of reusable equipment for re-issue using a barcoded tracking system.
* Contribute to services for Operating Theatres, Wards, Outpatient Clinics, Radiology, Emergency Departments, and community healthcare providers.
