Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Administrator to join a Primary School based in BD15 on an initial 2-3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

Provide efficient administrative support to the school office and leadership team.
*
Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies.
*
Manage incoming calls, emails, and enquiries with professionalism and discretion.
*
Maintain accurate pupil and staff records using the school’s MIS system (e.g. SIMS/Arbor).
*
Assist with pupil admissions, attendance monitoring, and reporting.
*
Prepare and distribute school correspondence, newsletters, and communication to parents.
*
Support financial and purchasing processes, including raising orders and managing petty cash.
*
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, GDPR, and confidentiality procedures.
*
Support the smooth running of day-to-day school operations and events.
Requirements

Excellent administrative, organisational, and IT skills.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
*
Ability to work effectively as part of a busy, supportive team.
*
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
