My client, a well-established software solutions provider in the North West, is hiring a Business Analyst to join an experienced delivery team. This is a key role within an existing team, focused on analysing, shaping, and delivering web-based software solutions for enterprise clients across regulated industries.

As a Business Analyst, you will lead requirements gathering activities, working closely with clients and internal delivery teams to ensure solutions are clearly defined, accurately scoped, and successfully delivered. You will play a central role throughout the project lifecycle, from initial analysis through to post-implementation review.
Your responsibilities will include leading client workshops and project calls, producing clear and detailed requirements documentation, supporting project planning and estimation, and contributing to continuous improvement through post-project reviews. You will also be responsible for building strong client relationships and ensuring information security best practices are adhered to at all times.
The Person
* Degree educated (or equivalent) in Business, Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline
* Minimum of 2 years' commercial experience as a Business Analyst or in a role heavily involved in software analysis and delivery
* Strong experience producing documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders
* Analytical and solution-focused mindset
* Methodical, organised, and detail-oriented approach
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively
* Strong team player with a collaborative attitude
* Understanding of information security best practices (e.g. ISO-aligned environments)
Desirable Experience
* Professional qualifications in Insurance and/or Project Management
* Experience working within the insurance or financial services sector
* Experience working within a supplier or consultancy environment
* Exposure to servicing enterprise-scale clients
