Job Description
We believe that no child should be limited by where they’ve come from; that every child within the BMAT family deserves the chance to move on from where they are now to somewhere better. This belief — this attitude — is a non-negotiable for us here at BMAT.
The role also includes the following responsibilities:
1. Maintaining a close working relationship with staff in schools to gather information concerning students’ attendance.
2. Having physical meetings with parents and pupils either at the school or at their homes.
3. Ensuring families receive their entitled benefits.
4. Taking court actions when necessary through the magistrates’ courts.
5. Arranging education for pupils both at home and in schools.
6. Writing letters and case notes to parents to keep them informed of the latest developments.
7. Ensuring that the schools’ computerised records are up to date.
8. Handling highly sensitive information carefully.
9. Meeting set deadlines and targets, and exceeding them where possible.
About Us
BMAT Education is driven by the ambition to be the best. We believe exceptional leaders create exceptional schools; they transform lives and shape the future of every student.
BMAT Education currently oversees seven secondary academies and five primary academies, primarily located in Harlow, with additional locations in Newham and Stansted.
Our schools provide an outstanding education for every individual attending a Trust school. They are places of aspiration, where individuals matter and confidence flourishes, leading to outstanding achievement for all. BMAT’s vision is to work together to overcome barriers that prevent our children from becoming confident, high-achieving, and independent individuals.
