The Opportunity
We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join us as a Lead Provider, delivering exceptional care and making a real difference in our urgent care clinic. Lead Providers serve as clinical leaders, mentoring and supporting new graduates and allied healthcare professionals.
This role is ideal for an NP who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys mentorship, and is committed to high-quality care.
Your Impact
1. Provide Patient-Centered Care: Conduct health assessments, physical exams, review medical histories, and address patient needs efficiently and effectively.
2. Assess patient health: Interview patients, perform physical examinations, and interpret diagnostic tests.
3. Perform therapeutic procedures: Administer injections, suture, manage wounds and infections.
4. Educate and counsel: Empower patients with health knowledge, discuss therapeutic regimens, and promote wellness.
5. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate medical records, ensure a safe environment, and adhere to infection control policies.
6. Collaborate with a Team: Work proactively with healthcare staff to treat patients and plan coordinated care.
7. Continuing Education & Mentorship: Act as a clinic leader, mentor new providers, and stay current with professional development.
Who You Are
* Education, Licensure, & Certifications: Master’s degree, NP certification, DEA license, BLS certification.
* Relevant experience: Emergency, urgent care, or ambulatory care preferred.
* Leadership skills: Ability to mentor and lead.
* Team player: Collaborative and adaptable.
* Communication skills: Confident and proactive in written and verbal communication.
* Compassionate and patient-focused: Demonstrates kindness and understanding.
* Technical proficiency: Skilled with EMR and Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge of: Customer service principles, relevant laws, pharmacology, and current medical practices.
