Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Midwives! Join Our Infant Feeding team, working across Maternity and Neonatal Services at Royal Oldham Hospital. This role offers a chance to make a real difference in maternal and neonatal care. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional support to women and their babies, collaborating with a multi‑disciplinary team dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of families who choose our maternity services.
We are seeking highly motivated midwives enthusiastic about improving maternity care. Strong collaboration skills and a passion for excellence are essential.
Main Duties
* Support the ongoing implementation, improvement, and monitoring of the Infant Feeding service within Maternity Services.
* Facilitate positive change and ensure compliance with national and local standards.
* Adapt quickly to changing demands and manage priorities effectively, with strong diary management skills.
Qualifications
* Registered Midwife with current NMC registration.
* Evidence of CPD.
* Practice Assessor.
* Degree or Diploma in Midwifery.
* Completed Band 5 preceptorship.
* IT skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Awareness of Baby Friendly Initiative.
* Team working skills.
* Understanding of clinical governance.
Desirable
* Experience of audit.
* Tongue tie practitioner.
* Ability to travel across the Trust footprint as needed.
* Full UK driving licence with willingness to use own car for work purposes.
