Following their recent close of nearly $10 million in Series C funding, they’re entering a new phase of growth, expanding operations from the UK and Europe into the US . With this, they’re now looking to hire a new Learning & Development Manager to shape and deliver a best-in-class learning experience for all employees.</p><p>This is a brilliant opportunity to build out the L&D function , working closely with senior leadership to identify training needs, support internal mobility, and drive high performance across global teams.</p><p><strong>What will you be doing in this role?</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of scalable learning programmes aligned to business goals.</li><li>Collaborate with Heads of Department and the VP of People to identify training needs and shape the L&D strategy.</li><li>Develop engaging learning content and manage relationships with external providers.</li><li>Own the onboarding experience, ensuring new joiners are set up for success from day one.</li><li>Launch learning paths and succession plans linked to the career framework to boost internal mobility.</li><li>Foster a coaching culture through both formal programmes and informal initiatives.</li><li>Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content is current, accessible, and impactful.</li><li>Define and track KPIs to evaluate programme effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.</li></ul><p><strong>What will you need to be successful?</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in a learning and development role, ideally within FinTech, scaling tech, or Financial Services (FCA regulatory experience would be a bonus).</li><li>A strategic and hands-on approach, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.</li><li>Confidence in designing, delivering, and measuring a wide range of learning initiatives.</li><li>Strong relationship building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and external partners.</li><li>Passion for people development, continuous improvement, and building a high-performance culture.</li></ul><p><em>We recognise how challenging this current job market is for candidates, and Hawkwood are therefore striving to provide the best candidate experience we can.</em></p><p><em>If you are interested in this opportunity, we kindly request that you apply via this LinkedIn advert, as opposed to sending us an email or LinkedIn direct message.
