Job Description
Electrical Field Service Engineer, Electrical Technician, Maintenance Engineer – Gaming, POS, ATM, Photocopiers.
This is a field‑based, electrically biased Service Engineer role providing scheduled service, maintenance, reactionary repair, installation and commissioning of a wide range of machinery across the Midlands (and occasionally further afield). You will also be responsible for repair and pre‑commissioning of equipment at the Northampton workshop.
Very limited staying away.
You will liaise with internal team members, provide remote technical support for computer hardware and POS systems. Familiarity with fault‑finding/extracting relevant information from software applications is a benefit.
You will also support the internal IT systems with occasional shared IT support monitoring over evenings and weekends (for critical events only) and cover holidays.
Key Responsibilities
* Field‑based service engineering.
* Repair and pre‑commissioning at the Northampton workshop.
* Electromechanical work on hardware, troubleshooting issues related to software applications/network connectivity.
Person Specification
* Excellent hands‑on repair, fault‑finding and debugging skills.
* Experience in gaming machine, ATM, photocopier, point‑of‑sale sectors.
* Understanding of network connectivity and general IT infrastructure.
