Following significant growth, we are looking for a senior strategist to push and drive our thinking. This is not a backroom planning role. It is a senior, client-facing, commercially influential position at the heart of the agency. Given this, there will be a clear pathway of progression through the company to senior leadership.
The Opportunity
As Senior Strategist, you will sit at the centre of how we think, perform, and drive effective solutions for our clients.
You will:
Lead strategic thinking across all major accounts addressing the fundamentals of segmentation, targeting and positioning
Shape client conversations and briefs before they enter our departments - creative or media
Define the strategic architecture behind campaigns, frameworks, and productised services
Own and evolve our proprietary insight and AI-enabled research frameworks
Lead advanced audience analysis including propensity modelling, persona development and content matrix frameworks
Translate complex data into clear, commercially actionable recommendations
Lead monthly and quarterly strategy sessions with senior client stakeholders
Proactively identify growth opportunities, risks and market shifts
Play a key role in business development, attending networking forums and industry events
Proactively drive our position as a youth marketing agency and continually discover new behavioural insights and trends
Be a core member of the pitch team, shaping compelling, differentiated strategic narratives
You will be involved in every major piece of work that leaves the agency. Strategy will not sit in a silo. It will drive everything we do, from client growth to new business success.
What You Will Bring
We are looking for a senior strategic leader who combines analytical depth with commercial instinct.
You will demonstrate:
Proven experience leading strategy in agency or in-house environments
Deep understanding of audience decision making, behavioural drivers and segmentation methodologies
Experience building and applying propensity models to inform targeting and investment decisions
Expertise in persona development and mapping content frameworks across the customer journey
Strong grounding in performance data and campaign effectiveness
Confidence translating research, recruitment data and live performance insight into forward-looking recommendations
Experience assessing markets, competitiveness, audience intent and channel effectiveness
Gravitas and credibility with senior stakeholders
Energy and ambition to contribute to new business and agency growth
Experience within Higher Education or complex B2B environments is highly advantageous.
