We’re recruiting a fixed-term role, up to 2 years, for somebody with experience of working in or regulating energy sectors, including combustion plants, waste incineration and refineries. Through effective regulation, we must ensure that energy sectors protect people and the environment from emissions, as well as mitigating and adapting to the impacts of climate change. The UK’s strategy to deliver Net Zero is driving transformation in the energy sectors as they’re responsible for 24% of UK greenhouse gas emissions and must decarbonise by 2050 while increasing electricity production.
