About the role
We are recruiting for a Senior Operations Clerk within our Warehouse Team. As a Warehouse Operations Clerk, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the administration of your department is completed as well as supporting the department with any operational activities as required. There will also be times when you will need to support the Warehouse team.
You’ll work closely with the Senior Operations Clerks, Team Managers to ensure that all paperwork within your team is completed accurately & goods within the warehouse function are received properly.
You will ensure that all Warehouse Operatives are communicated to with relevant information, and support with equipment queries.
Main Responsibilities
8. Completing the clerical functions necessary to keep physical warehouse activity running smoothly
9. Monitoring of pick and replenishment control screens for Ambient, Tobacco and Frozen
10. Investigating of back pics, suspended pics and replenishments
11. Dealing with Proof of Delivery Paperwork
12. Dealing with Drivers and receipt paperwork
13. Releasing orders for checking
14. Liaising with goods in checkers and supply chain
15. Assisting in the counting of stock as required
16. Assisting in the issue of any paperwork, documentation as required
17. Undergoing any training when required by the Company
18. Any other duties as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business
19. Main focus - bombing orders and pick office
You will need
20. You have sound numeracy and literacy skills
21. You have experience within warehouse chambers (advantageous but not essential)
22. You are flexible and versatile
23. You are able to produce quality standard of work
24. You have good PC and organisational skills
25. You have the ability to work under pressure
26. You are an advocate for Health & Safety
