About the Role
Our stores serve as the lifeblood of our business, acting as the main touchpoints with our consumers. As retail evolves, the store must set the tone for our two brands and provide a first‑class experience. The Assistant Manager leads teams by example, embraces our entrepreneurial spirit, and inspires through passion and belief in our brands.
Responsibilities
* Lead store teams to generate sales and profit, minimize losses, and create the best possible customer experience while ensuring visual distinctiveness and immaculate upkeep.
* Identify growth opportunities and improve performance through collaboration.
* Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives for the sales floor and back room; work with the VM team to ensure clear communication.
* Partner with management to build business opportunities and achieve company objectives.
* Focus staff on quality relationships with internal and external customers and build a repeat customer base through spirited service.
* Conduct daily/weekly store walkthroughs; evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels and inventory.
* Communicate sales drivers, issues and priorities to the Store Manager to develop strategies to maximize business.
* Create visual presentation action plans and analyse store‑level reports to improve results.
* Assist with manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing and hiring; build bench strength and potential successors.
* Participate in weekly management meetings and other staff meetings.
* Communicate store and individual sales goals, key performance expectations, sales results, and guidance to improve performance.
* Deliver a great customer journey and achieve exemplary mystery shop results.
Qualifications
* Track record in supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand.
* Previous people‑management experience with strong conflict resolution skills.
* Effective communicator who cultivates belonging and celebrates contributions.
* Courageous in giving constructive feedback that promotes positive behavioral change.
* Fast‑adaptable to pace and energetic presence on the shop floor.
* ’Can‑do’ approach with informed decisions for in‑store solutions.
