JDR Recruitment are recruiting for an Operations Clerk to join a company based in Middleton.
This is a temp‑to‑perm opportunity, starting immediately, for the right candidate.

Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* 11:00 am - 7:30 pm

Pay Rate:
* £14.31 per hour

Duties:
Operations & Warehouse Support
* Carrying out operational tasks across inbound, outbound, receiving, and shipping (domestic and international)
* Supporting daily warehouse operations to ensure high customer service standards
* Liaising with clients, drivers, and transport companies through timely oral and written communication
* Using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to process and track orders
* Supporting material handling tasks where required
Please note:
This is a hands‑on role, with most of the shift spent on the warehouse floor. It involves extended periods of standing and walking and may include light material handling.

Experience Required:
* Minimum 1 year of experience working in a logistics company in a similar operational or clerical role
* Experience using a commercial WMS, such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, or similar
* Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
* Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced warehouse environment
