Job Overview

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-orientated Credit Control Administrator to join our busy credit control office in Manor Royal, Crawley. This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, accurate record-keeping, and timely handling of all your work. You will play a key part in supporting the wider credit control team and contributing to the effectiveness of the department.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver a high standard of customer service to both external customers and internal business partners
* Take ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are met
* Communicate clearly and professionally with customers by phone, email, and in writing
* Maintain accurate customer ledger records and ensure payments are correctly allocated in line with remittances
* Input and process payments received, and handle daily incoming and outgoing post
* Scan and maintain confidential customer files securely
* Analyse and check reports, supporting the credit control team in identifying process improvements
* Assist with ad hoc duties as required

About You

The successful candidate will have:

* A confident and professional personality, able to handle demanding customers calmly
* IT literacy, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
* Strong numerical and communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* A proactive, flexible, and positive approach, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities
