Our nationwide Plant and Tool division hires a range of equipment including diggers, dumpers and small hand tools to our customers across the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors.
As a Hire Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Hire Desk and Transport services to ensure the depot exceeds customer requirements and increases sales revenue. You will manage a team of Hire & Sales Coordinators and Drivers, motivating and developing them to create a customer‑focused approach, whilst ensuring health & safety processes are adhered at all times. In this fast‑paced role you will monitor hire activity levels and produce monthly revenue and productivity reports, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
* Significant experience working within a high-volume sales role preferable within the plant hire or construction industry
* Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop a high‑performing team
* Ability to engage with customers at all levels to increase sales revenue and resolve issues efficiently
* Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail to manage competing priorities effectively
* Proficient in MS Office packages including Word and Excel
