£30,000 per annum – No call out
We are recruting for a maintenance handyperson to join a small team working at a static site in Shrewsbury. This position is working from 1pm to 9pm, Monday – Friday, with no on call requirement for this role.
Main Duties for this role:
1. Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) within set timescales, carrying out maintenance on floors, doors, ceilings, wall coverings, basic plumbing, and carpentry, painting and decorating.
2. Undertaking minor project works when required.
3. Ensuring Health & Safety compliance, liaising with client representatives, using mobile devices to log works and update tasks.
4. Carrying out any other reasonable duties as directed by the Contract Manager.
Person specification for this role.
5. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in maintenance work, and be able to turn their hand to most aspects of D.I.Y.
6. Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures.the ability to read technical drawings.
7. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
8. A full UK driving licence is also required.
On offer is a permanent position paying a basic salary of £30,000 per annum, with 25 days annual leave plus stats.
