Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista and kitchen assi to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional experience for our customers by preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanour will be essential to your success in this role. As a kitchen assistant you will help prepare all of the food, and serving tables.
Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
* Prepare the food for each day and throughout
* Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
* Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have.
* Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring basic maths skills are applied for payments.
* Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
* Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment and assist each other as needed.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a café or food service environment is essential.
* Strong understanding of food safety practices is highly desirable.
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
* A friendly attitude with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike.
* Ability to work flexible hours.

Hours range from 11am-4pm
