SEO & GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) Data Analyst
Location: Edinburgh, Bristol, Chester or Halifax
Hours: Full-time
Working Pattern: Hybrid; at least two days per week in office.
About This Opportunity
At Lloyds Banking Group, we’re embedding analytics at the core of SEO and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) to drive organic growth across traditional search and AI‑driven platforms. The public website is a critical engine for discovery and consideration of our brands and products. This role is central to strengthening how we measure, understand, and improve search visibility and website performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and evolve the SEO and GEO measurement framework, monitoring performance across organic search engines and generative AI platforms.
* Deliver actionable insights that drive uplift in rankings, citations, organic traffic, engagement and conversions.
* Build and maintain dashboards surfacing SEO/GEO trends, opportunities and risks.
* Conduct opportunity sizing, causal analysis and forecasting to identify high‑impact initiatives and inform prioritisation.
* Embed a culture of insight‑driven decision‑making and coach teams to use data to guide SEO/GEO strategy.
Qualifications
* Two years proven experience designing and evolving measurement frameworks and dashboards for SEO and website performance.
* Strategic collaboration with stakeholders across the public website team and other partners, aligning insights with business objectives.
* Ability to communicate insights and recommendations clearly to non‑technical and senior stakeholders.
* Experience in coaching or mentoring to foster evidence‑based decision making.
* Forward‑looking mindset, comfortable operating in fast‑paced environments.
