About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Property Legal Assistant to join our busy and growing commercial property team in Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their legal career within a supportive and professional environment.
You will work closely with experienced solicitors handling a broad range of commercial property matters, providing essential administrative and legal support to ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with commercial property transactions including sales, acquisitions, leases, and refinancing
Preparing and drafting legal documents and correspondence
Submitting Land Registry applications and SDLT returns
Conducting property searches and due diligence
Managing files from instruction through to completion
Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties
Maintaining accurate case management records
General administrative support to the commercial property team
About You
Previous experience in a legal assistant or legal secretary role (commercial property experience preferred)
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
A team player with a positive and proactive approach
