Role: Accuracy Checking Technician/Pharmacy Technician Pet Health Division
Location: On-site at Bardon, LE67 1GQ
Salary: £ 15.30 per hour plus extensive benefits
Contract type: Permanent
Employment type: Full time
Working hours: 40 hours per week, scheduled between Monday and Sunday. The primary shift will be Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Please note that occasional weekend work may be required, depending on business needs.

What you’ll be doing
* Ensure all prescriptions received are dispensed daily
* Support the clinical team with day to day activities
* Comply with P2U dispensary operations procedure and meet internal targets for dispensing quality and accuracy
* Adhere to all legal, ethical, professional and company requirements
* Work within a high-volume environment
* Meet set targets for individuals and team to meet business targets
* Take ownership of prescription labelling and accuracy
* Collaborate with key teams across the business (customer service, purchasing, operations & pharmacists)
* Maintain a workplace that is professional, collaborative and positive
Who we are looking for
* Holds a valid ACT qualification or is a registered Pharmacy Technician with the ACT module
* Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and committed to maintaining professional standards
* Experience in veterinary prescriptions or a strong interest in pet health (preferred but not essential)
* Thrives in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
* Works collaboratively across teams and communicates clearly with colleagues in pharmacy, operations, and customer service
* Confident using IT systems, including Excel at an intermediate level, and quick to learn new tools
* Demonstrates initiative, organisation, and a proactive approach to CPD
