Transport Supervisor Working Hours Monday to Friday Start time: 03:30 AM 8-hour shifts Overtime may be required to meet operational demands Role Purpose We are seeking an experienced and proactive Transport Supervisor to support the daily management of a busy transport operation. This role involves overseeing a fleet of vehicles and coordinating a large team of drivers in a fast-paced home delivery environment. The successful candidate will have previous transport supervision experience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high operational standards. Key Responsibilities Support the Transport Manager in the day-to-day running of the transport operation. Ensure all transport activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Monitor and report any instances of non-compliance to the Transport Manager. Conduct daily driver pre-briefs and ensure all drivers are fully prepared for their shifts. Manage and resolve day-to-day driver issues, including uniform compliance, vehicle cleanliness, and daily vehicle checks. Liaise with drivers, maintenance providers, and breakdown recovery companies regarding vehicle breakdowns and operational issues.
