The Head of Transformation Change is accountable for ensuring that transformation initiatives are successful adopted, embedded and sustained across the organisation. The role holder will lead the change strategy that enable people, leaders, and teams to transition effectively from current to future ways of working, ensuring Transformation delivers its intended business outcomes. Key responsibilities of the role include - Lead the organisation change management strategy and execution across enterprise-wide initiatives. This role ensures that strategic, operational, and cultural transformations are implemented effectively and sustainably, maximising Police Officer and staff adoption, minimising resistance, and driving measurable business outcomes. Ensure a consistent, robust approach to business analysis is adopted across the portfolio and will lead the establishment and management of business change infrastructure across the portfolio (e.g. Change champions, roadshows, business readiness checklists, implementation management and benefits realisation plans). Responsible for ensuring Transformation Projects and Programmes comply with the change methodology as defined in the Change Management Framework, apply the relevant techniques consistently and that the quality of deliverables meet required standards. Responsible for the development of change competency across the organisation via the application of the Change Management Framework and through the integration of change competencies into programmes. Interface with Police Scotlands Senior Leadership Team stake and play a key role in the engagement, design and establishment of local/divisional change implementation teams, which will facilitate and enable the adoption of new ways of working and benefits realisation. Accountable for all business analysis and business change to improve, drive and support Police Scotlands Organisational Strategy and Vision. Part of the Change functions Senior Leaderships team, reporting to the Director of Transformation and will be working to deliver the overall vision both in the short and long term. Why join us?
