NES Fircroft is currently recruiting a Logistics Coordinator for our client, a leading Oil & Gas operator based in Norwich. This is a long-term contract, initially 12 months, with a high likelihood of extension. The position is Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the client's Marine & Aviation Logistics team. The successful candidate will have a strong marine background and will be responsible for providing logistics support to the UK offshore business across the Southern North Sea and onshore terminals. The role involves developing strong working relationships across operations and with external marine contractors to ensure effective delivery. The focus will be on offshore walk-to-work and marine operations.
The role operates a Monday to Friday schedule, based in Norwich, with occasional travel offshore and to other sites for meetings as required.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Manage day-to-day marine activity for the client, acting as the focal point for quayside/marine contractors and responding to operational challenges.
* Maintain and update vessel plans in collaboration with key stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with marine performance standards and HSE safety cases.
* Manage the annual PFEER validation trial process (emergency response).
* Assist with budget tracking and control.
* Record marine logistics data regularly.
* Conduct safety and operational visits to marine vessels in port.
* Attend internal and external meetings, with travel as required.
* Manage KPIs on a daily basis.
* Support wider logistics team activities.
* Process and check invoices.
* Record and report incidents and investigations related to logistics.
* Identify opportunities for improvement in marine logistics processes.
* Build effective relationships with internal teams and external providers.
Key Experience Required:
* Experience with marine/vessel operations within the offshore oil & gas industry.
* Knowledge of OEUK marine guidelines.
* Strong written English skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
* Full driving license.
* Excellent administrative skills.
