Role Overview:
We are seeking a well-organised and motivated Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of the golf club office. This is a varied and vital role involving communication with members and guests, coordination of bookings and events, and general administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the club.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist members, visitors, and guests, providing a high standard of customer service.
* Handle telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries professionally and efficiently.
* Manage tee time bookings, societies, and visitor reservations using booking software.
* Support the General Manager with correspondence, documentation, and internal communications.
* Maintain and update membership records.
* Process payments, invoices, and basic financial transactions in coordination with the accounts team.
* Order office supplies and manage stationery stock.
* Ensure the clubhouse notice boards and website are kept up to date with club information.
* Provide general clerical support, including filing, photocopying, and mail handling.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
