Private Client Solicitor

The Opportunity
An established and well-respected legal practice is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer to join its busy and expanding Private Client team in Leeds.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fee earner looking for a stable, long-term role within a supportive environment that values quality work and strong client relationships. The successful candidate will inherit a varied and high-quality caseload with ongoing departmental support.
The Role
You will manage a full private client caseload, including:
Drafting Wills and providing estate planning advice
Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
Probate and estate administration matters
Managing files from initial instruction through to completion
Handling client enquiries and maintaining excellent client care
Supporting colleagues within the Private Client department as required
About You
You will be a detail-oriented and client-focused professional who is comfortable managing matters independently while working collaboratively within a team.
Key requirements include:
Strong private client technical experience
Excellent client care and communication skills
Ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and practically
Strong written and verbal communication
Good IT capability and attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
A proactive and professional approach
Experience & Qualifications
3-5 years' PQE or equivalent relevant experience
Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer
Current practising certificate (or equivalent)
