Home Manager – Residential/Dementia Care
Location: York
Salary: £70,000 per annum + Performance related bonus
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Home Manager to lead a well‑performing residential and dementia care service in York.

* Residential and Dementia care home
* 70 bed service – 84% occupancy levels
* No turnaround required – this is a well‑run, steady service
* Recently commissioned at pace, so experience in similar environments would be highly advantageous
* Strong performance across quality, occupancy, and recruitment
The Role
* Provide strong, visible leadership to the team
* Maintain and further improve quality and compliance standards
* Prepare the service for its first CQC inspection, striving for an excellent rating
* Drive team engagement, retention, and continued occupancy growth
* Ensure the highest standards of care for residents at all times
About You
* Experienced Home Manager (or strong Deputy ready to step up)
* Background in residential and/or dementia care
* Confident in managing compliance and preparing for CQC inspections
* Ideally experienced in newly commissioned or rapidly developed services
* Committed, driven, and passionate about delivering outstanding care
