* As our Civil Engineering Lead, you will report to the Director of Water and help grow the team and the business, building on the capabilities of water and engineering professionals around the world.
* You will work with the UK Director of Water to help foster growth within our core team, collaborating with peers across all disciplines and developing existing and new relationships with clients to maximize our combined offerings and secure new wins.

We are seeking an ambitious professional with plenty of experience, a background in the UK Water Sector, and a good understanding of the challenges it faces as it adapts to a changing climate and increasing population.

Your role will involve working closely with our UK teams to identify growth areas and opportunities in the Water Sector, supporting in recruitment and development of the team, and developing and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
">
* Network and support business development opportunities in the Water Sector.
* Contribute to the development of strategies to identify growth areas and opportunities in the Water Sector.
* Support in the recruitment and development of the Water team.
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders in the Water Sector.
* Provide technical and expert advice to clients, manage and deliver projects in the Water Sector.
Requirements
">
* A BEng or MEng in Civil, Water, or Environmental Engineering disciplines.
* A Chartered membership of a professional institution such as CIWEM, ICE, IStructE etc.
* Demonstrable client, contractor, or consultancy experience in the UK Water Sector.
* Experience in the technical delivery of water and wastewater engineering projects, ideally including treatment schemes and/or pipeline design.
* Experience of working on environmentally focused water engineering projects such as river and coastal engineering.
* Experience of working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary design teams, including environmental and sustainability.
* Knowledge of current UK water industry standards and regulations.
