In this role, you will be providing personalised support for parent/carers through a blend of face to face, virtual and group work, enabling them to feel more confident and empowered to manage the issues they face. The role reflects the Home-Start approach, bringing together trusting relationships, strengths-based practice and skilled volunteer involvement. Support families to understand assessment and education pathways. Offer clear information, signposting and warm handover to partner organisations when required. Provide supervision, reflective support and safe practice guidance for volunteers. To keep up to date with relevant SEND policies and practices. What you will need Experience as a professional, supporting families of children with SEND or neurodevelopmental needs. Strong understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions and their impact on family life. Ability to work within a multi-agency environment. About us Home-Start offers a unique service.
