Business Development Director – Medical Education

? Role Overview:
In this pivotal role, you will drive business growth by identifying new partnership opportunities, strengthening existing relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to create impactful medical education proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Represent the company at UK based and international events to build and nurture new client relationships
* Conduct proactive outreach via calls and face-to-face presentations to both new and existing clients
* Develop and deepen relationships within your network to drive ongoing growth
* Work closely with internal teams to craft compelling grant proposals and pitches for medical education funding
* Stay up-to-date on market trends, supporter news, and industry developments through research and conference attendance
* Support sales activities, including lead generation and competitive analysis, alongside management
? Requirements:
* 4+ years’ experience in business development within pharma or medical education
* Proven success in securing significant funding from medical education teams
* Strong track record of expanding existing accounts and uncovering new business opportunities
* Knowledge of digital IME/CME programming and ACCME guidelines
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
* Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and willingness to travel
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
