Duties
* Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
* Support individuals in maintaining their independence while providing necessary assistance
* Implement and follow care plans tailored to each individual's needs
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
* Drive to various locations as required for home care visits
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes
* Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
* Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping
* A valid driving license is preferred for roles involving home visits
* A compassionate attitude towards providing care and support to individuals
* Clean DBS
* Driver (preferred)
