Job Description
Purpose of the Post
Ensure that the people of Gwynedd are at the heart of everything we do. Undertake cleaning duties within school premises to maintain hygiene and cleanliness.
Responsibilities for Functions
Equipment management.
Main Duties
1. Cleaning, washing, sweeping, and vacuuming.
2. Emptying litter and recycling bins.
3. Polishing and dusting furniture and fixtures.
4. Cleaning toilets and shower areas, replenishing supplies.
5. Using powered equipment when appropriate.
6. Adapting duties between terms and school closures.
7. Moving between areas as required.
8. Self-development and compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
9. Adhering to equal opportunities and data protection policies.
10. Supporting environmental initiatives and reducing carbon footprint.
11. Performing other reasonable duties as assigned.
12. Reporting concerns about child or vulnerable adult abuse.
