Job Description
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to join a dynamic operations team responsible for receiving, packaging, and distributing high-quality products across ambient, cold-chain, and frozen environments. This role plays a key part.in ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and delivery excellence.
Location: Horsham - Langhurstwood RdShift:Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:15Job Type: Full-time(3-month contract)Pay Rate:£13.20per hour + 22% shift allowanceStart Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
* Pick and pack customer orders in line with business targets
* Receive and process deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory tracking
* Execute production orders, including equipment setup and clean-down
* Complete GMP documentation accurately and within required timelines.
* Perform inventory checks, cycle counts, and waste disposal activities.
* Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance guidelines
* Maintain housekeeping standards and promote a safe working environment
* Adhere to cGMP, quality, and safety regulations (including PPE usage)
* Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles
* Report any health, safety, or quality risks to line management
* Undertake additional duties as required
Required Skills & Experience
* GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
* Basic IT literacy
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and numeracy skills
* Flexible, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
* Positive, proactive ("can-do") attitude
